China is a destination so full of history, culture and diversity. There's the hustle and bustle of the big cities, quaint little towns, tranquil National Parks and wildlife. The food is incredible. 

To be serenaded by an Italian boatman inside the Blue Grotto - magic. To be drenched on the entrance to the Blue Grotto - refreshing! 

The Forgotten World Railway journey is a MUST do. Travel by rail carts & jet boats through epic landscapes in this stunning part of the North Island. Listen to the stories of hardy pioneers living in remote communities and visit the iconic Whangamomona Hotel. 

What better way to navigate the waterways of Southern India, than on a converted rice barge! As you travel the vast network of lagoons, lakes, rivers & canals you get a real insight to the way the locals live their lives. Southern India is lush, tropical & famous for it's spices, seafood & beaches. It is also the home of Ayurveda massage. A great place to unwind after the buzz of exploring other busier parts of this Country. 

Great way to get off the beaten track  - do a Vespa tour with some mates! 

"Almost adventure" travel - I'm no marathon runner, but I have really enjoyed doing a few bike & barge trips. The biking allows you to interact with locals in some wee villages that you would otherwise not have access to. I also did a week long self-drive Vespa tour in Puglia (the heel of the boot, Italy)- AMAZING!!!

South Australia is one of my fave parts of OZ. Adelaide is an easy, walkable city & a great place to base from. A houseboat holiday on the Murray River is perfect for a group or family trip. Kangaroo Island is foodie heaven set amongst rugged wildlife. Did I mention they make pretty good wine as well? 

Small group travel is my absolute passion. Relaxed starts, longer stays delving a bit deeper into a destination. Mixing with the locals, hearing their stories, eating the cuisine from their area. Getting a real feel for the place, not just a "selfie" stop.
