Postcard from the Gold Coast

Heading to the Gold Coast for the first time in 14 years for conference was enlightening.
It sure offers something for everyone! Of course there is the theme parks and beach but what about going Jet skiing, hiring a house boat, visiting HOTA (Home of the arts), hiring a bike, cruising the river on a catamaran while sipping champagne and so much more on offer.
I took my teenage son and he enjoyed exploring on his own while I was in conference and the tram running from Surfers to Broadbeach certainly makes this easy. This tram is soon to go all the way through to the airport.
