Postcard from Hawaii

Postcard from Hawaii Courtney Cameron

The main attraction to Hawaii for me was the beach and the famous Pearl Harbour.

I could've spent all day at Pearl Harbour. I just loved learning all the history, hearing the stories of locals & paying respects to the resting area of loved ones. It is a place where you cant help but be moved.

Waikiki lived up to expectations with kilometers of gorgeous white sandy beaches, shopping galore, and fabulous beach side eateries. And of course the famous Friday night fireworks display was unbelievable.

I highly recommend hiring a car or jumping on a tour and going to check out the North Shore of Oahu. We were lucky and stumbled across a famous turtle resting spot on the beach which is manned by local volunteers on the way to the surfing pipeline. Gorgeous creatures.

My family loved the zip lining we did at a ranch on the north east coast which is also where a lot for movie sets are filmed, including Jurassic park.

A highlight of this trip was the Polynesian Cultural Centre, where we enjoyed a fabulous Luau dinner & show.

I cant wait to visit Hawaii again
