Postcard from Bali

Postcard From Bali

When we visited Bali with friends and I was really impressed. There is plenty of options of things to do to keep you busy or just sit and relax at the beach or by the pool.
Our stay in Semiyak was at the Double Six and what a lovely resort! right on the beach, shopping was handy if you wanted it and the roof top restaurant and bar took a lot of beating for sunset cocktails and the most amazing breakfast.
From there we moved to Sanur – a much quieter more relaxed area of Bali. The Puri Santrian Beach Resort & Spa was lovely with a variety of pools and again near plenty of restaurants and shopping.

You have to indulge yourself in a massage or one everyday – for $10 – 15 for a full body massage who could refuse!
We all enjoyed the cooking class,  a tour through the local food market trying the local specialties and a walking tour through a local rice fields with the farmer was very interesting.
Its nice to have the direct flights from Auckland so no excuse not to visit
