In 2024 I had my first trip to China, and as I knew there was going to be a massive language barrier booked myself an Intrepid Tour which is a small group touring company. This maybe the trip so much easier as we had a local guide who could speak English and Chinese as well which help with translations and also allowed me to see 3 very different and unique cities in Shanghai, Xi'an and Beijing. The group was made up of a wide range of ages and included some great experiences like seeing the Terracotta Warriors and Walking the Great Wall of China.
