Postcard from New Zealand

Tekapo Chelsea Rowe

For those of us who love to travel, how often do we end up missing our own backyards?

I was mid-30's before I went on my first proper roundtrip down the South Island. And now I can't wait to go back!

There is so much variety between all the regions. Whether it was almost stepping on a sleeping seal at Kaikoura (sorry buddy), sitting amongst the wildflowers at Lake Tekapo, enjoying the mossy growth on the Kepler Track, drinking a Guinness with fresh steamed mussels at Franz Joseph, finding a quiet cove near Picton, there is so much to see and explore.

I have to say that Lake Tekapo was probably my favourite spot, purely because we went at the perfect time of year and it was idyllic.
