My brother and I did a camping tour in autumn in Canada. To this day its the most fun I've had in my life. A minivan of people from around the world becoming friends, camping in gorgeous locations, hiking, canoeing, cooking together and just getting up to general shenanigans in one of the most scenic locations I've ever been to.
Packing Canoes and heading into Wells Gray Provincial Park to an isolated campsite (that can't be reached by road) was probably the highlight of this trip for me. We rowed out to the middle of the lake at sunset, pulled our canoes together and sat there watching the stars come out while enjoying a few drinks - it was an experience like no other. Knowing that we were all alone, no traffic, no other campers, on the other side of the world - it was surreal.
