I flew with Hawaiian Airlines in an Extra Comfort seat which I would recommend paying a bit more to do so.
I stayed at Beachcomber Waikiki which is in a fantastic location and soon to be the home of Cirque du Soleil. Anticipated to open in late 2024, the show will fuse the world-renowned acrobatics and innovation that Cirque du Soleil is known for with the natural beauty and unique culture of the islands. I also checked out Shoreline Hotel and the nearby Outrigger properties.
The shopping is amazing and all so close! The famed Cheesecake Factory Restaurant and Duke's Waikiki are only a few minutes walk away. Plus the hotel is just one block back from the beach and does feature a swimming pool.
I went to Aulani Resort for a Luau evening and spotted Moana, Minnie and Mickey Mouse at the Resort. The show was amazing and so vibrant in showcasing the Hawaiian culture. The buffet style dinner was delicious.
I visited Pearl Harbour and went onboard the USS Missouri. We had a private lunch in the Captains quarters which was very special. I was overwhelmed with all the history - there was just so much to take in. This is a must for any history buffs!
Hawaii is a destination that has something for everyone. I really enjoyed my time there.
