Lovely to meet you

I’m Peter - A born again travel fanatic who didn't leave New Zealand until the ripe age of 20. For that trip, I went coast to coast in the USA. Taking buses, trains, and planes to traverse the country. Seeing this incredibly vast and diverse place, that felt so different, yet so similar, was unforgettable and left me wanting more.

The quality of my first overseas trip can be attributed to the travel consultant that got me there, it was enhanced by their vast knowledge, advice, and recommendations. As soon as I returned to NZ, I began applying for work within the travel industry to emulate and share this experience with others, and have been doing it ever since!

My passion is for improving and adding to the overall experience of my clients, just as this was done for me. Everyone has their own preferences and unique style when traveling and I love to truly tailor the experience to each individual. Whether it’s extending a stay to include a small half-day excursion you hadn’t thought of, going off the beaten track to visit lesser known locations, or visiting a nifty rooftop bar on the outskirts of town, these small, often overlooked aspects of your journey, can be the most memorable.

My favourite holiday memories

Canada

In the spring of 2019, I travelled from Vancouver to Calgary on the Rocky Mountaineer Train. A fresh coating of snow in Banff National Park made the scenes incredibly picturesque and I was even lucky enough to see a mama black bear and her young cubs in the wild!
Cambodia

My first solo trip I went around Southeast Asia with an amazing touring group. The ancient ruins of the Khmer Empire were both fascinating and mesmerizing. Seeing the unique architectural designs overgrown by relentless vegetation and patrolled by gangs of monkeys was incredibly memorable.
Japan

Japan has been my dream destination since I began working in travel, and in 2023 I was able to get there! The little seaside town of Kamkura, just outside of Tokyo, was an absolute delight. Walking around the serene Zuisen-ji Temple with no-one else around was one of my top travel experiences.
South Korea

As a devout Shin Ramen fan, I had high expectations for Korean Cuisine! In Gyeongju, the ancient capital of Korea, I found a wonderful café overlooking a gorgeous flower garden within the old town. Happy to say, the food and view had me coming back everyday I was there!
USA

I spent a month traveling the western part of the USA by campervan with a group of friends, driving through multiple national parks, visiting small frontier towns, and getting to know the locals. We ended the journey with a multi-night stay in the dusty California desert for the Coachella music festival.

Trains - Trains! Getting from A to B is a major part of any trip and being able to enjoy this by putting your feet up and taking in the views can dramatically improve your overall experience.

USA -Having travelled to 20 States in the USA, I've seen the huge variety of travel opportunities that are available across the country. From adrenaline junkies to foodies to beach bums, the USA has something for everyone.

Group Touring- Sometimes it's easier to let someone else organize your meals, transport and activities. Group touring is an amazing way to get the full travel experience while making new friends from across the globe!

Europe- Stopping over somewhere on your way to Europe breaks up the journey time, and provides an opportunity to explore somewhere you may never have thought to travel to! Stopovers can add a great deal of value to any trip.
