  • Celebrity Cruise
    Celebrity Cruise Fay Atkins

    A perfect week reuniting with family and sailing to Porto, Lisbon, A Coruna and Vigo. Taking a tuk tuk trip around the streets of Lisbon, stopping for pastel de nata's and listening to fado music is a day I will never forget.

    Hawaii Fay Atkins

    Hawaii has so many fantastic memories it would be hard to pick one but seeing sea turtles in the wild and indulging my inner film nerd visiting the stunning Kualoa Ranch where Jurassic Park was filmed are high on the list!

    A lifelong Disney fanatic, visiting all the parks is a bucket list dream. Having visited Florida, Paris, Los Angeles and Hong Kong being at the Shanghai park during its opening celebrations was amazing and the Tron ride is such a unique experience for thrill seekers!

    One of my favourite stop overs when travelling back from Europe, Singapore has a never ending selection of amazing things to do and any visit should always include a stop at Raffles Long Bar to indulge in a Singapore Sling.

    Driving over, walking across and taking a seaplane flight over the Golden Gate Bridge are all fantastic memories I made whilst visiting San Francisco. I highly recommend staying in Sausalito just the other side of the bridge, a relaxing foody heaven with easy access to the city.

My travel passions

Having made numerous visits to the magical theme parks in Florida, Los Angeles, Paris, Hong Kong and Shanghai plus the Disney Family Museum in San Francisco, I love sharing my passion for all things Disney.

Spending several years working in the Turkish travel sector, I know the true beauty of this amazing country and its people. From its turquoise coasts to unique locations like the cotton castles of Pamukkale Turkey is a must see. 

Cruising into Venice at sunrise was one of my first experiences at sea and I have been hooked ever since. The magic of waking up in a new destination every day is such an exciting way to travel. 

I believe Road Trips are the ultimate way to get off the beaten path and experience a country and its culture. Driving the Mississippi from Nashville to New Orleans was an incredible mixture of food, music and history.

  • Fay Atkins at House of Travel is great to deal with! I wanted to book a flight to Melbourne but didn't want the hassle of booking through the airline's website. Fay made the whole process so smooth and easy. She is an excellent communicator and responded promptly to all my questions. She also gave me very good advice about being at the airport at the recommended three hours in advance. While I thought this was excessive, I'm glad I followed her advice as I was held by a lot of chaos at the airport. Fortunately, I was still left with enough time to have lunch, relax and browse the shops before boarding my flight. I will definitely use House of Travel again for all my domestic and international travel plans. Lastly, we got caught up in a severe weather event in Europe and she checked in on us to see if we were ok and needed any assistance. That was gratefully received!
