Lovely to meet you

I am delighted to share the exciting news of my return to House of Travel after a brief break from the travel industry. I am thrilled to continue my travel career, which spans over 17 years. It all began when I entered the industry as a travel consultant and eventually progressed to assistant office manager. I developed a strong fascination with the wholesale operation, which inspired me to delve deeper into that specific aspect of the business. 

This experience further ignited my desire to embark on my second Overseas Experience (O.E.) As a result, I left New Zealand and had the opportunity to work as a travel agent in both Australia and Ireland. Upon my return to New Zealand, I seized a valuable position as a sales representative for Malaysian Airlines before finally joining House of Travel at the beginning of 2017.

During my travels, I have been fortunate to explore 18 countries, and among them, Hawaii holds a special place as one of my favorite destinations. Exploring the Waikele premium outlets, basking in the sun on beautiful beaches, snorkelling with turtles along the Maui coastline, and embarking on the exhilarating Haleakala Zipline adventure—this destination offers the perfect all-in-one holiday experience for me.

Cruising, indulging in luxury travel, and enjoying beach breaks are my passions, although I am not averse to a touch of adventure. Witnessing the awe-inspiring Chichen Itza Mayan ruins in Mexico and conquering the ascent of Mount Kinabalu in Sabah were both remarkable personal achievements.

One of the most fulfilling aspects of my profession is assisting clients in creating their ideal travel experiences. I take great pleasure in hearing about their favorite moments and highlights upon their return.

    Samoa is a great destination, don’t forget to hire a car and keep some Tala on you to access the beaches if you are swimming at any of the local beaches or watering holes.

    Perth Western Australia – there is so much to do and see in Perth and Western Australia. From wineries to the amazing beaches, and lots of wildlife to see. Don’t forget to visit Rottnest Island.

  • She was helpful, and prompt in getting back to us. We had secured a cancellation booking for accommodation but needed someone to co-ordinate the flights and other accommodation to tie in with this offer. We had less than 48 hours to put something together and make it happen. Rebecca contacted us after hours and made sure this was locked in and confirmed, which took the stress off us and we were able to relax and enjoy our weekend, knowing this was all taken care of. Rebecca has been able to contact our accommodation and get it all put under the one package with House of Travel, making it easier and simple for payment.   • Rebecca greeted me with a warm helpful smile. I knew that I was in good hands, then Rebecca recognised me from a couple of years ago when she had organised flights to Cambodia for me. She soon got down to organising my needed flights to Ulaanbaatar in Mongolia. The flights to Mongolia seemed to be quite messy. She then came up with the idea of going through Hong Kong, brilliant idea! flights all booked , two night stopover in a nice hotel close to attractions etc. Transfers to and from Airport to Hotel, holiday insurance all done for me.
