Postcard from Sri Lanka

I was lucky enough to travel to Sri Lanka with Singapore Airlines and the wonderful Innovative Travel back in 2016. 

From the rich culture, lush landscapes, incredible food and golden beaches, Sri Lanka was an absolute travel highlight for me! 

A favourite memory is arriving at the gorgeous Heritance Kandalama Resort which is tucked away in the lush jungle near Sigiriya. We arrived at sunset to the soulful serenade of a flute player, while monkeys peered at us cheekily from the vines that hung from the resort. 

The resort is designed by world renowned architect Geoffrey Bawa and we loved feeling so deeply immersed in nature while staying here. 

Other highlights include the Dambulla Cave temples, climbing the famous Sigiriya, exploring the markets of Colombo and releasing baby turtles into the Indian Ocean.
