Postcard from Singapore

Singapore !  The lush manicured, clean tidy and safe city used to be a hub we used to stopovers en route to India, Asia, Africa and the UK, but now it really deserves a medal for a destination all on its own.   

I spent 4 days exploring Sentosa Island and Singapore city, I was lucky to fly with World Class Singapore Airlines Business Class.   I stayed near Orchard Road at The Vibe and in Sentosa at Oasia Resort. 

The highlights were roof top bar Sentosa watching fireworks display, Mount Faber Cable Car and actually just walking around the beautiful Marina Billion Dollar houses. I learnt so much about the history and the war , but so nice to see the links and heredity paying homage to this still today. 

In Singapore I was very lucky to do a side Car Motorbike tour - this was a treat linking the old city with new. I learnt so much more with a one on one guide in one hour zooming round the city that I did over 3 hours on a bus tour !   

My much awaiting Singapore at Raffles did not disappoint , as well as the local Hawker Food Markets, Marina Bay Gardens and the roof top bar Marina Bay Sands.
