USA - LA, Santa
Monica, San Diego, Las Vegas and a little bit of Texas (Galveston).
The US has so much to see and do. It is huge!! The meals are huge and well
yes, so are some of the cocktails.
Fantastic place for the whole family to enjoy. I did as much as I could in
one visit with my 2 teens and here are some of the highlights. Disneyland,
Universal Studios, Hollywood Walk of Fame, Santa Monica Historic Pier, San
Diego Sea World and Zoo, Grand Canyon by Helicopter with dual landings,
racing around in a Nascar, Zip Lining in Fremont Street, the old Vegas strip,
high above all the people below and checking out all the famous hotels you
see in the movies.
Ended in Galveston to board a cruise in the Caribbean for 7 nights onboard
one of the biggest ships in the world, Royal Caribbean Harmony of the Seas.
One thing to keep in mind when visiting the Disney parks is that they are
massive. You will do a lot of walking and I mean a lot!! Destroyed a pair of
sneakers from all the walking we did. You definitely want comfortable shoes
for all the parks. Both Disneyland and Disney California Adventure Park have
some very cool rides. Galaxy's Edge in Star Wars Land is truly out-of-this
world. My favourite ride would have to be Guardians of the Galaxy Mission
Breakout. This is the old tower of terror ride. Not for the faint
hearted...It's loud, dark and has big drops. So much fun. Bonus if you love
the characters from the movies.
The Grand Canyon is exactly that. It's grand. Flying over Lake Mead, the
Hoover Dam and the Canyon itself is incredible. We were able to land at the
bottom of the canyon and then again at the top.
Vegas has so much to offer and is suitable for all ages.
Sea World in San Diego is another great park especially if you like roller
coasters and marine animals. The Orca show was awesome...sit in the wet zone
and you will be drenched. They can definitely flick a crazy amount of water.
Getting around the USA is easy. Flights, trains and self drive. Around the
cities or towns, Uber and Lyft are the best options.
