I was so lucky to
embark on a Wendy Wu tour of Taiwan and Vietnam , along with flying with
China Airlines across all classes - Economy, Premium and Business class.
What a surprise Taiwan was - the view from 89 stories was unreal at Taipei
101, goosebumps watching the changing of the guard at CKS Memorial Hall and
fascinating ancient Longshan Temple. being with a Wendy Wu guide meant we
learnt a lot along the way, our guide talked us through the culture as it was
happening in front of us. I loved getting into the countryside and
visiting tea plantations and Sun Moon Lake. A highlight was the South ,
Foguanshan Monastery - the largest monastery in Taiwan.
In Vietnam we stayed at the luxurious Hotel Royal , Wendy Wu took us on an
ancient walking tour so got to get amongst the locals, spend time making
lanterns, dumplings and doing Tai Chi ! The family homes and business
we visited were 7th Generation, so we could feel how connected the people are
to their ancestors.
We finished with a cable car trip up the Ba Na Hills to visit the famous
Golden Bridge - WOW !
