My first trip to Palma de Mallorca in 2019 stole my heart—and it’s still one of my favorite spots! The city buzzes with energy, from the superyacht-filled marina to the lively esplanades. You can easily explore the island by bus or car, with hidden gems like Deia and Valdemossa waiting to be discovered.
Spain’s tapas scene is a dream—small bites with your drink, everywhere you go! I’ve cruised around Mallorca and hopped between the Balearic Islands, but mainland Spain has its own magic too! Barcelona, with its vibrant energy and Gaudi masterpieces, was a definite highlight. Park Güell, La Sagrada Familia, and the Montjuïc Cable Car offered unforgettable views and experiences.
On a whirlwind trip back from Portugal, I squeezed in a visit to Seville. It was a short stay, but the tapas were incredible, and the Parc de España was an absolute must-see (with gelato to follow, of course!). I also had a quick but delicious two-night stop in Madrid, with a stroll through the beautiful El Retiro Park to top off my time there.
Spain is full of energy, culture, and, of course, amazing food—definitely a place I’ll be back to!
