Postcard From Japan

Japan Cruise Rachael Wood

Japan by Cruise

Cruising was such an awesome way to see Japan! If you've been before or just looking for something a bit different, hop on a cruise ship and explore the stunning & characteristic port towns. Bonus is that many make a stop in South Korea - either Busan or Jeju Island.

Highlights

Otaru - A charming canal city lit up by vintage oil lamps. Known for their Kitaichi Glass, there are plenty of handcrafted glass blown gifts to explore. And if it captures your heart, make sure to visit again in the winter when they host the magical Otaru Light Festival.

Hakodate - Experience the Hakodate Morning Market, a bustling market spanning four city blocks, filled with fresh seafood like kani (crab), uni (sea urchin), konbu (kelp), and more. Enjoy some of these foods at one of the many restaurants available.

Bonus - Ramen & soba was served at the buffet everyday! Yum!
