Postcard From Canada

I had always wanted to experience a White Xmas so in December 2019 we headed to Canada for two weeks. With Air NZ flying direct to Chicago, we stopped on route to visit a friend and then flew into Calgary. From Calgary we drove up to Lake Louise which is home to the Amazing Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise (in photo) and spent 3 nights here for Xmas. It truly is a magical experience and you do feel like you are staying in a Castle. There are so many activities to keep you busy including ice skating, skiing, tobogganing, curling, treasure hunts, gingerbread house making, stocking decorating and so much more. It was everything we imagined and more and was a very special Xmas.

We then drove to Banff which is a very cool town and had a few days there while we before starting the journey home, via San Fran for a few days stopover.
