Postcard from Key Largo

A few of us who were in the Disney College Program and working at the same place in the parks decided to travel down to the Florida Keys. As some of them were American they had their cars with them so it made it easy to get out and explore. We found ourselves in an AirBnb in Key Largo (one of the first Keys off the mainland) and were out for dinner one night. One person in the group suggested we do a road trip down to Key West for the night and then drive back in the morning… the road down there is a long stretch of highway over the water bridges connecting all the Keys together, so to be honest, it was quite daunting to do this at 9pm at night and very dark! We got as far as Marathon Key before another person in the group decided it wasn’t a great idea. So we turned around and went back!! Talk about travellers remorse!
