Postcard from Egypt

Egypt Ashanti Ramsey Hamilton

Egypt was a dream come true for me! My obsession started as a child, in awe during history classes on Ancient Egypt. To actually walk the streets, swim in the River Nile and see the monuments I'd had visions of for most of my life was a feeling beyond words!

I travelled from Hurghada to Luxor and then on to Aswan in the South. Hurghada, famed for its access to the crystal clear waters of the Red Sea; Luxor celebrated for its endless temples, desert and inconceivable ancient monuments; and Aswan for its insane preservation of archaeological sites and the Nubian people. I ate endless amounts of Koshary, Egypt's national dish, Ful for breakfast and any other delicious dish I could get my hands on - which was everything!
