I truly feel like one of the luckiest people on earth, working in an industry that fuels my passion for exploration. I’m constantly drawn to new destinations, immersed in diverse cultures, and inspired by the incredible people I meet along the way. Traveling never tires me—I always have my next adventure booked before I’ve even unpacked from the last one! It’s what keeps me energised, and when I’m in-store, I get the joy of helping clients craft their dream holidays, sharing my knowledge and experiences to make their journeys unforgettable.

While I’m often asked if I have a favourite destination, it’s impossible to choose. Every trip holds its own magic. However, certain places stand out, and I find myself frequently returning to the Mediterranean. The rich cultures, vibrant lifestyles, and charm of Greece, Croatia, Italy, France, Spain, Portugal, and Morocco always call me back. There's something about the Mediterranean energy that keeps me wanting more.

Africa holds a special place in my heart too—it's the kind of place that leaves a lasting mark on your soul. Whether it’s a close encounter with wildlife in Botswana, trekking with gorillas in Uganda, or witnessing the breathtaking Great Migration at the Mara River in Tanzania (an experience a friend described in true Kiwi fashion as "mate, this is just out the gate"), Africa is truly on another level.

Then there’s South America—just WOW. Whether exploring the Galápagos Islands, trekking the 4-day Inca Trail in Peru, marvelling at Bolivia’s surreal Salt Flats, or soaking in the energy of Brazil, Chile, and Argentina, the continent is alive with colour and excitement. It’s an experience that leaves you feeling more alive than ever.

For me, travel is more than a passion—it’s a thirst that can never be quenched. Even when COVID brought our business to a standstill, it didn’t stop me. I hopped into a Land Cruiser and embarked on an epic 65,000km 12 month journey through Australia’s heart and remote regions, discovering its untamed beauty and learning more about myself along the way - travelling alone, and camping out under the stars.

That’s who I am—always seeking to go further, push boundaries, and uncover new adventures. It’s my privilege to guide clients on their own journeys, helping turn their dreams into reality. That’s the true magic of this extraordinary role.
