Lovely to meet you

I have been working in the travel industry for over 15 years with 7 of those being based in the Wanaka office. I live locally having settled here with my husband and 2 children we are lucky enough to call Wanaka home. 

Before my career in the industry began, I was living and working in the UK on my OE. Travelling extensively around Europe is where my passion for travel ignited. 

On my way home from the UK I got to experience an amazing trip in Africa overland for 7 weeks, this further cemented my decision for a career change into the travel arena. Since working in the industry I have been lucky enough to add Asia, America, Bali, South Pacific, Australia and cruising to my list of places visited. Whilst my "to do" list is constantly growing at the top would have to be Vietnam and India. 

Whilst the past 2 years have been challenging for us in the travel industry it continues to be very rewarding - the excitement and joy of clients heading off on their dream trips is really contagious. I really enjoy working collaboratively with clients to create a holiday suited specifically to their wants, needs and desires. I thrive on putting together proposals that excite and inspire my clients suggesting options that perhaps had not been thought of and going above and beyond to ensure I provide a high level of customer service throughout the whole experience. I pride myself on my attention to detail and love touching base with clients when they return to hear how everything went. Feedback whether it be good or bad should always be seen as a way to continue to provide an outstanding service and an opportunity for self-reflection, its all about building relationships with clients and truly being a part of their travel journeys from start to finish!

Post covid travel environment has changed significantly and with that the importance of having a trusted agent on hand to support and advise throughout the planning, creation, and duration of the journey is more significant now than ever before. The value of being able to speak to someone whom you know and trust whether it be answering your questions or to help you from one side of the world when your in need is in fact priceless, no waiting on hold for hours on end - let me take the hassle out of your next adventure.
