The Netherlands is a special place for me as its where my family is from but in saying that, it is such a beautiful country and the architecture is just so unique and pretty.

Such a cool vibe.  If you're ever in Dublin make sure you call into the Temple Bar.  Is pumping with the best live music and the place is packed to the rafters.  Awesome atmosphere and a great place for a Guinness!!

Its a challenging walk over tree roots and boulders to get into Lake Marian and a couple of times I wanted to quit, but I wasn't quite prepared for how magical it was when we got over the rise to see the stunning lake.  Totally worth the effort.

My daughter was living in Godalming for just over a year.  Its about 45 minutes south of London by train in Surrey.  The village is hundreds of years old but so picturesque and just what you expect little English villages to look like - quaint and pretty.

Noumea has the most amazing sunsets, the colour, the stillness of the water just magical, it was also a great destination for relaxing, food and adventure.  We loved kayaking in the Blue River Provincial Park in the submerged forest as well as swimming with turtles at La Regnere Island.
