Lovely to meet you

I have been in the Travel Industry for over 10 years, starting off primarily selling Australia, then moving to House of Travel in the Product Department where I was for 4 years as a South Pacific Destination Expert. In April 2023, I was given an opportunity to work here at House of Travel Ellerslie in a retail role. Here I have discovered a love of creating and curating holidays for all types of travelers to ensure they have the best possible experiences while there.

My favourite holiday memories

  • P&O Cruise
    P&O Cruise Cassandra

    Most recently in AUG 2024 my family and I went on a P&O Cruise (my third and their first). We had a great time taking part in all the daily activities and exploring the islands of Fiji and Tonga. 

  • Las Vegas
    Las Vegas Cassandra

    Earlier this year I had the chance to head to Los Angeles and Vegas as part of a work trip. We got to see the Hollywood sign, eat way too much food, visit the Valley of Fire (pictured here) and the Sphere experience. Everything is bigger and better in the USA.

  • Disneyland / USA Topdeck Tour
    USA Cassandra
    In 2016 I embarked on a Topdeck Tour of the USA. Starting in Los Angeles, visiting Disneyland and Universal Studios. Then Vegas, San Francisco on the West Coast. We then flew to the East Coast and Worked our way down from New York to Florida. 
    I loved Disneyland, it was a bucket list item for me and I would love to be able to take my daughter back at some stage. Another highlight was New York and also Savannah.

My travel passions

South Pacific -I am very passionate about the South Pacific. It is so easy for New Zealanders to get to, enjoy some great whether and friendly service.

USA - I love the USA and have travelled throughout the West and East Coast on both personal and work trips. It is a great place with so much to see and do. I really want to get the change to check out places like New Orleans, Texas and Nashville.

Ocean Cruising- My holiday of choice is Ocean Cruising. You can unpack once and get to visit a number of great places all in one trip. It is an awesome way to see and do a lot on a limited time frame.
